Dr. Crosby has maintained a private practice in Richardson, Texas since 1983. He grew up there, graduating from one of the first classes at J.J. Pierce High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas and completed his degree in dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry and his orthodontic degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Crosby is an Associate Clinical Professor in the department of orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry. He teaches Invisalign to the orthodontic residents and remains very involved in academic affairs. His biggest achievements, on the other hand, have come from the many hours he has spent volunteering through his local Rotary Club. The creation of the Network Dental Clinic was a long-term vision that finally came to fruition in 2009. The clinic was created to serve uninsured children in the Richardson Independent School District. Thirty local dentists have been recruited to operate this wonderful facility.
In trying to identify the one main facet of his practice that brings the most joy, the aspect for which he is most thankful, the one common denominator that clearly surfaces as the source for all his professional satisfaction: is his relationship with his patients. It is the opportunity to get to know them. To watch their children grow up, to celebrate marriages and births, to share the excitement of a new home or a job promotion, to see photographs of new children and grandchildren, to praise good report cards, and to athletic accomplishments. Sure he loves his work and the opportunities it brings, however, the real satisfaction comes from the relationships he has with his patients and those friendships, which he is most grateful for. In his spare time, Dr. Crosby is an avid sports photographer, which can be seen in our “Get Your Picture” Tab, he is active in many of the local high school sports teams, as well as college soccer, and Green Bay Packers Football. He has been published in several sports publications and has won numerous awards for his photography. He also enjoys golf, cycling, and skiing.
